Belarus, Russia extend joint military drills

Belarus once again continued its joint military exercises with Russia taking place on Belarusian soil.

That’s according to the Belarusian Hajun monitoring group, Ukrinform reports.

As it is noted, the drills have been ongoing since April 29, 2022. The total amount of extensions has grown to 78 weeks.

This time, joint military exercises were prolonged to October 29. They will involve eight training grounds – in the Borysov, Grodno, Brest, Osypovichi, Novogrudok, Baranovichi, Ivatsevichi, and Lepel districts of Belarus.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces in its regular updates reports on the situation including in the norhern direction, assessing potential threats from Belarusian territory.

No signs have been spotted of an enemy offensive group of troops being formed across the Ukrainian border with Belarus.
