First Russian sea vessel enters Mariupol port - Andriushchenko

A Russian marine-class vessel has entered the port of temporarily occupied Mariupol for the first time.

The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reported.

"This is very bad news. This is why we needed to dredge the river. Now it's happened - the first sea-class vessel (not a river-sea vessel) docked at the shipyard yesterday. The bulk carrier class vessel has its own cranes and its gross tonnage (or DWT) is much more than 5,000 tons, as in RM-3 vessels," said Andriushchenko.

He noted that it is currently unknown what kind of cargo the bulk carrier brought. The underground continues to monitor the situation.

"Considering that there is nothing in Mariupol to load for such a weight, delivery to Mariupol and unloading is the goal. It's not hard to guess what exactly. Definitely not houses for Mariupol residents. The military logistics map is starting to change. On the other hand, it definitely brings the 'cotton season' closer in the Primorsky district of Mariupol," suggested the mayor's advisor.

As reported, Russians are dredging the bottom of the port of Mariupol to take loot from Ukraine.
