Two civilians killed as invaders shell Kherson region 101 times in past day
On October 23, the Russian army shelled Kherson region 101, killing two civilians
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past day, the enemy launched 101 attacks, firing 597 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad MLRS, automatic grenade launchers, tanks, aircraft and UAVs. The enemy fired 30 shells at the city of Kherson," he said.
The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of settlements; a critical infrastructure facility and a plant in Beryslav, the territory of a park in Kherson.
According to Prokudin, two people were killed and 14 more, including a child, were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.
As reported by Ukrinform, mandatory evacuation of families with children was introduced in 23 settlements in the liberated areas of Kherson region.
