Ukraine’s aviation launches seven strikes on enemy positions

Over the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched seven strikes on enemy personnel clusters.

This is stated in the morning report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Over the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched seven strikes on enemy personnel clusters. Missile units hit three enemy ammunition depots, six artillery systems and an anti-aircraft radar station," the report reads.

Over the past 24 hours, 78 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 50 airstrikes and 49 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements. Also, yesterday, the Russian occupiers launched yet another air strike, using Shahed-136/131UAVs. Ukraine’s air defense forces and means destroyed all enemy Shahed drones. Civilians were injured by falling fragments of drones. In the towns of Slavuta and Netishyn of Khmelnytskyi region, 11 apartment blocks and nine private houses, two educational institutions, two fire and rescue units, and a police station were damaged. Moreover, civilians were killed and injured as a result of an airstrike by guided aerial bombs on the residential area of Beryslav town and the villages of Beryslav district of Kherson region.

Private houses and other civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed and damaged.

Airstrikes were launched on Novoselivske, Serebrianske forestry, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamyanske, Khromove, Klishchiyivka, New York, Avdiyivka, Novobakhmutivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Staromayorske, Volodyne in Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Zmiyivka, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Odradokamyanka, Mykolayivka, Olhivka in Kherson region.

More than 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group of troops in Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy maintains military presence in the border areas, conducts active subversive activities to prevent the redeployment of Ukrainian troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops in Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka settlements in Kharkiv region.

In Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers firmly hold the defense, successfully repelled all enemy attacks near Nadia and Makiyivka, Luhansk region.

In Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka in Donetsk region. In turn, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflict manpower and equipment losses on the enemy and gain a foothold on the achieved boundaries.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops in Avdiyivka direction, the enemy does not stop trying to encircle Avdiyivka, actively uses aviation, but our soldiers firmly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy. The enemy made unsuccessful offensive attempts in the areas of Stepove, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Sieverne in Donetsk region, where the defense forces repelled 15 enemy attacks.

In Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian soldiers repelled 20 enemy attacks.

In Shakhtarske and Zaporizhzhia directions, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Vodiane, Novoukrayinka, Staromayorske in Donetsk region; Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in Melitopol direction, inflict manpower and equipment losses on the occupying forces, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group of troops in Kherson direction, our soldiers conduct a counter-battery fight, inflicting fire damage on the enemy's rear.
