Russians shell Nikopol and Pokrovsk community, civilian injured
The Russian army shelled Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring a civilian.
Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
"In the afternoon, the occupiers struck Nikopol district. Nikopol itself and Pokrovsk village community came under heavy artillery shelling. The district center was also targeted by a kamikaze drone," Lysak noted.
According to him, a 42-year-old man was injured. He was taken to the hospital in a moderate condition.
In addition, a utility company and an infrastructure facility, three private houses, the same number of outbuildings and two garages, a gas pipeline and a power transmission line were damaged.
As reported, Russian troops shelled Nikopol district twice last night.
