Foreign partners note motivation of Ukrainian recruits - General Taran
The absolute majority of foreign partners note the high level of motivation of Ukrainian military servicemen deployed for training abroad.
The head of the Main Doctrine and Training Department (J7) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Oleksiy Taran, stated this in an interview with ArmyInform, answering the question of how foreign partners evaluate the level of training and motivation of Ukrainian servicemen, Ukrinform reports.
"Foreign partners are focused on fulfilling our requirements to organizing training events on their soil. At the same time, representatives of the absolute majority of countries note our soldiers’ high level of motivation," he said.
The head of the Main Doctrine and Training Department (J7) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said the Ukrainian Army systematically review training plans and programs taking into account the analysis of Ukraine’s combat experience and feedback from partner countries hosting training courses.
"We are proving our demands for the organization of events through SAG-U and EUMAM. The last time this was done during the Joint Training Conference held in December at one of the military bases in Germany," said Major General.
According to the official, their requirements are set out in a set of directives that contain all the required information for training requirements, priorities, content and terms, and expected results.
"The main goal that is achieved through the use of the mentioned training directives is the standardization of efforts for all ‘types’ of combat training on all foreign platforms... Therefore, it is better to say that we evaluate them rather than they evaluate us," Taran says.
As reported, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov stated that the high level of training of the Airborne Assault Troops is an example for fellow members of the Defense Forces and a deadly threat for the Russian Federation.
