Russian forces shell Sumy region 21 times in past 24 hours

Russian invaders 21 times shelled the communities of Sumy region close to the Russian border, where a total of 138 explosions were recorded on Saturday.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform saw.

"On this day, the Russians 21 times shelled territories and settlements in Sumy region close to the border. A total of 138 explosions were recorded," the statement reads.

The Bilopillia, Krasnopilllia, Velyka Pysarivka, Seredyno-Buda, and Svesa communities came under enemy fire.

The Russians fired mortars (40 explosions), grenade launchers (29) and artillery (24) at the Velyka Pysarivka community.

The Seredyno-Buda community was subjected to mortar shelling (5 explosions).

Russian artillery and mortars hit the Krasnopillia community (26 and 4 explosions, respectively).

The Russians also hit the Bilopillia community, employing mortars (5 explosions) and artillery (4 explosions).

The enemy launched a mine on the territory of the Svesa community.

As reported earlier, Sumy region is subjected to Russian strikes on a daily basis as the enemy keeps killing civilians, destroying residential and administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities.
