Ukraine’s defense intel neutralizes two Pantsir-S1 air defense systems on Russian soil
Ukrainian scouts boasted of another successful raid into Russia’s Belgorod region to destroy sophisticated air defense systems.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, Ukrinform saw.
As noted, on Saturday, January 6, another special operation by GUR, aimed at weakening enemy capabilities, has been completed.
"As part of a complex mission executed with the assistance of the United24 platform, military intelligence operators struck the positions of the Russian air defense forces in the territory of Belgorod region. As a result of the fire damage inflicted, two Russian air defense systems Pantsir S1 were neutralized," GUR reported.
The cost of one such system reaches approximately $10-15 million.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a Russian command post in Sevastopol, temporarily occupied Crimea.
