Ukraine developing digital military recruiting project – Vice PM

In Ukraine, a digital recruitment project for the Armed Forces is being developed, aimed at hiring attack drone operators.

Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies, Minister for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov told about this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"We are just in the final stages of the project. The pilot will be about drones. We have already launched several beta tests involving brigades as we are looking precisely for attack drone operators. And we are just testing the process to see how much feedback we receive from those willing to join the ranks of the Armed Forces and be drafted specifically to the attack drone operators unit," Fedorov said.

He noted that the project’s goal is to raise awareness about specialties, allowances, tasks, and training.

He added that it is quite challenging a task to launch the project because the military draft system needs to be rebuilt.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine launched in November 2023 a recruitment project for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
