Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: Russia's barbaric attack took lives of at least three people

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said after a renewed Russian missile attack on Ukrainian cities that Russia is a terrorist state that must answer for its crimes.

The ministry said this in a post on the X social media platform, Ukrinform reports.

"On January 8, Russia once again launched a massive attack against Ukraine and our people. This unprovoked barbaric attack took the lives of at least 3 people and injured 33. Russia is a terrorist state that must be held accountable for its crimes," the ministry said.

Early on January 8, Russia attacked different regions of Ukraine using cruise and ballistic missiles.
