Russians launch 41 attacks on Kherson region in past 24 hours

Russian troops launched 41 shelling attacks on the Kherson region on Monday, January 8.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 41 shelling attacks and fired 182 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The Russian military targeted residential areas in the region's towns and villages," he said.

According to Prokudin, no civilian casualties were recorded.

Late on January 8, Russian troops shelled downtown Kherson.
