Russian forces shell four communities in Sumy region with mortars

On the night of January 10, Russian troops shelled three communities in the Sumy region.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"At night, the Russians shelled the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region four times. Fourteen mortar explosions were recorded. The Seredyna-Buda, Esman, Svesa and Znob-Novhorodske communities came under fire," the message reads.

 As a result of mortar shelling, two explosions were recorded in the Seredyna-Buda community, four in the Znob-Novhorodske community, five in the Esman community, and three in the Svesa community.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians fired 21 times on the border area of the Sumy region on January 9.
