Injury toll in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv-based hotel rises to 13

Thirteen people have been injured in Russia’s recent attack on a hotel in the city of Kharkiv, including a foreign journalist.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Two injured people were reported rescued and 19 evacuated.

According to the preliminary data, those injured were hotel personnel and guests. A foreign journalist was among them.


A reminder that, around 10:30 p.m., January 10, 2024, Russian troops launched missile strikes on downtown Kharkiv. Two enemy projectiles hit a hotel building.
