The Russian army again shelled the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging houses and causing fire.

Serhiy Lysak, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"It was a tough day for the Nikopol district. Russians shelled it three times with heavy artillery. They attacked seven times with kamikaze drones. They hit the district center and the Myrove community. The shelling damaged two five-story buildings and six private houses in Nikopol. One of the houses caught fire. The fire was extinguished by the emergency service," Lysak wrote.

According to him, the enterprise and three outbuildings were damaged. A gas pipeline and a power line were hit. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 21, an enemy missile was shot down over the Dnipropetrovsk district.
