New conflicts shake world if Putin gets his way - Yermak

The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, believes that the world will be shaken by new conflicts if Putin gets his way.

The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, said this in an interview with Le Figaro, Ukrinform reported.

"I worry about the future of humanity if Putin gets his way. The world will be shaken by new conflicts, and not only in Europe. Many existing conflicts were provoked by Russia. The war in Ukraine has shown that local wars no longer exist. Every war has an impact on every country in the world," emphasized Yermak.

According to him, Ukraine has good prospects for support from the EU and the US.

"A few days ago, David Cameron said that the current situation reminds him of the late 1930s and that we should not appease Putin, but fight. This is exactly what we are talking about. That is why we need to urgently increase military and technical support for Ukraine, as well as sharply increase economic sanctions against Russia. As long as it is needed, but especially when it is needed. This is the formula for effective assistance to Ukraine," Yermak emphasized.

He noted that in Ukraine, even the slightest delay in the supply of weapons can cost lives.

"I think all our partners understand this. We have to act quickly," Yermak emphasized.

As reported, Yermak said in an interview with Le Figaro that Ukrainians will not stop until they liberate their territory and agree to freeze the war.
