Russian shelling injures five police officers in Kherson region over past day

In the Kherson region, five police officers - three from Kherson and two from Dnipro - were injured in enemy drone attacks over the past day.

The Kherson regional police reported this, according to Ukrinform.

"In Beryslav, two police officers of the Kherson region were injured during a drone attack, both of them sustained gunshot shrapnel wounds to various parts of their bodies," the statement said.

The Russian military also attacked Shlyakhove with a drone, where three police officers from the Dnipropetrovsk region, who serve as part of the attached forces, were injured, all of them with concussions.

Over the past day, the regional police responded to 249 statements and reports from citizens about criminal violations and other incidents. 25 proceedings were opened under Article 438, 'Violation of the laws and customs of war' of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, in Beryslav, the Russian military fired a drone at a motorcyclist, and the man died.
