Enemy conducts airstrike on village in Kherson region - two killed

An enemy air strike on Beryslav district in Kherson region killed two people, and an investigation has been launched.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

"A pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings over the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder," the report says.

According to the investigation, on January 23, at about 15:10, the Russian military launched an air strike on a village in the Beryslav district.

The enemy hit a private house, and people were trapped under its rubble.

As noted, a woman was unblocked during search and rescue operations. Her injuries were incompatible with life, and she died on the way to the hospital. The body of the deceased man was also found.

All relevant services continue to work at the scene. Information about the victims is being clarified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian military dropped four guided aerial bombs on Beryslav, Kherson region, hitting a high-rise building, a factory, a car park and a kindergarten. A 70-year-old man died as a result of Russian shelling of the Korabelny district of Kherson, and a 74-year-old woman was injured in Kindiyka, a suburb of Kherson. The authorities showed the consequences of the hostile shelling of the Milivska community in Kherson region, there are destructions and an 85-year-old woman was lightly wounded.

A 29-year-old woman was wounded in another shelling of the Korabelny district of Kherson.
