Russian forces launch 170 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region in past day

Russian invaders launched 170 strikes on 25 towns and villages in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region on January 23.

Yurii Malashko, head of the region's military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers carried out eight MLRS attacks on Huliaipole, Robotyne, and Kamianske, 41 UAV attacks on Bilenke, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Novodarivka, Charivne, Malynivka, Levadne, Poltavka, and Mali Shcherbaky, as well as an air strike on Mala Tokmachka," the post said.

The enemy also launched 120 artillery strikes on Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Chervone, Malynivka, Levadne, Bilohiria, Luhivske, Stepnohirsk, Piatykhatky, Kamianske, Lobkove, Plavni and other front-line towns and villages.

There were 18 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
