Journalist: HIMARS strike kills 24 Russian drone operators in occupied Ilovaisk

A Ukrainian High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) attack on the enemy's training ground near Ilovaisk, in the occupied part of the eastern Donetsk region, has killed 24 Russian soldiers.

Ukrainian blogger and journalist Denys Kazanskyi announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today is a day of happy news. Russian military commanders confirm a HIMARS attack on Russian military personnel at a training ground in Ilovaisk. At least 24 are reported dead," Kazanskyi wrote.

He said it was particularly important that UAV operators from the "Sudoplatov battalion" had been eliminated.

"Their project was called 'Doomsday.' Well, the doomsday has come," the blogger added.
