The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shown how they have destroyed enemy observation posts and Russian invaders in the southern direction.

The command of the Special Operations Forces reported this on Facebook and published the video, Ukrinform reported.

"During special reconnaissance in the southern direction, operators of the 73rd Marine Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered enemy observation posts and personnel on them," the statement said.

To destroy the enemy, the crew of the UAV launched a fire attack on the targets using a thermal imaging drone with a drop system. After that, a combat group of the Special Forces moved in to clear the observation posts.

Despite heavy enemy artillery fire, the operators approached the Russians closely, took up favorable positions, and began direct action.

"As a result of the professional work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, observation posts and five enemy soldiers were destroyed. In the future, this will allow us to control more areas in this direction," the soldiers of the Special Forces noted.

As reported, 58 combat engagements took place in the frontline on January 25.
