Enemy increases number of assaults in Tavria sector

In the Tavria sector, the Russian army has increased the number of offensive and assault operations, but the Ukrainian forces are on the defensive.

General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, in the area of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, the enemy launched 10 airstrikes, carried out 50 combat engagements and used artillery 624 times.

The total enemy losses over the past day amounted to 480 troops and 23 units of military equipment. In particular, the Defense Forces destroyed two enemy tanks, seven armored fighting vehicles, six artillery systems, five vehicles and three special equipment units.

In addition, 2 Russian ammunition depots and 161 UAVs of various types were also destroyed.

As reported by Ukrinform, 82 combat clashes were reported on the front lines in Ukraine in the past 24 hours.
