Zelensky holds Staff meeting to discuss protection of cities, critical infrastructure from airstrikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss plans for further protection of cities, communities, and critical infrastructure facilities from airstrikes.

He said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Zelensky noted that the meeting addressed "Avdiivka, Kupiansk, the south - all the most important directions of our actions."

The meeting participants heard detailed reports from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Odesa operational and strategic grouping of troops, Eduard Moskaliov, Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of the Operational Command South Andriy Hnatov, and others.

"Another focus is ammunition. Search for new contracts, interaction with partners on the regularity of ITA (international technical assistance - ed.), constant increase of our own production. Also, drones, work on increasing both the volume and range of use," the President said.

According to Zelensky, he also heard a report on the protection of frontline and border areas, especially from Russian airstrikes.

In addition, he instructed that detailed plans for the further protection of cities, communities and critical infrastructure facilities from airstrikes be developed.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia should feel that Europe at all levels remains ready to defend its values and unity.
