Child injured by Russian shelling in Kupiansk district dies at hospital
A 13-year-old girl who was injured in a Russian airstrike on the village of Malyi Burluk, Kupiansk district, on January 17 has died at the hospital.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Unfortunately, today a 13-year-old girl, who was injured by Russian shelling in the village of Malyi Burluk on January 17, died at the hospital. The girl was in a coma for a long time. She suffered complex shrapnel injuries," the post said.
The regional governor recalled that the enemy had struck the settlement with a guided bomb.
Earlier reports said that a Russian strike on the village of Malyi Burluk, Kupiansk district, had injured two children. Doctors assessed the condition of the 13-year-old girl as grave and performed the necessary surgery. The attack also injured a 10-year-old boy who lost his leg.
