One killed, two injured in 102 enemy attacks on Kherson region in past day
Russian troops shelled Ukraine's southern Kherson region 102 times on January 27, killing one person and injuring two others.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the region's military administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 102 attacks and fired 451 shells, using mortars, artillery, MLRS, tanks, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The enemy fired 38 shells at the city of Kherson," Prokudin wrote.
According to him, enemy shells hit residential areas in the region's towns and villages, as well as a cell site and radio tower in the Beryslav district.
On Saturday, January 27, Russian troops struck a village in the Bilozerka territorial community of the Kherson region. The projectile hit a residential building.
