Invaders attack Donetsk region 1,982 times in past day

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled the Donetsk region 1,982 times, with hits recorded in 12 settlements, where 22 civilian objects were damaged.

This was reported by the Donetsk region’s police, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the course of the past day, the Russians launched 1,982 attacks. The police documented war crimes of the Russian Federation. The hits were recorded in 12 settlements: the towns of Bilozerka, Zalizne, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Toretsk, the villages of Raihorodok, Yampil, the villages of Vovche, Hannivka, Karpivka, Nove, Staryi Karavan," the statement said.

It is noted that 22 civilian objects were damaged - 10 residential buildings, a boiler house, garages, vehicles, and critical infrastructure.

In particular, in Bilozerske, the enemy shelling injured two civilians and damaged four apartment blocks.

The occupiers shelled Zalizne with artillery, where they wounded two civilians and damaged two private houses, an administrative building, and a boiler room.

Another person was wounded and a private house was damaged in Vovche.

Police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, on June 2, Russian invaders injured five residents in the Donetsk region.
