Russia's S-300/400 air defense system hit in Belgorod region

Russia's S-300/400 air defense system has been hit in the Belgorod region.

That's according to the Telegram channel ASTRA, Ukrinform reports.

According to the post, the strike was carried out using a HIMARS missile system. A video showing the aftermath of the attack was published online.

"It is likely that this was an attack on the Korocha district, Belgorod region, on June 2. At that time, a Russian Defense Ministry base was attacked and several pieces of military equipment burned down. While the fire was extinguished, a projectile detonated, leading to the death of the secretary of the district's security council, Igor Nechiporenko, and the wounding of the head of the district administration and three servicemen of the Russian Defense Ministry," the post said.
