Defense forces destroy two Iskander-K missiles, two UAVs

On June 4, Ukraine’s defense forces intercepted and destroyed two Russian Iskander-K cruise missiles and two UAVs.

Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, on June 4, the enemy attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with two Iskander-K missiles fired from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Both missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In addition, around midnight, Russians used four unmanned aerial vehicles (type to be determined) in the northern direction. Two of them were intercepted and destroyed by units of mobile firing groups of the Defense Forces in the Chernihiv region, and two more ceased to exist, Oleshchuk said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down two Russian missiles in Dnipro on June 4. Seven people, including two children, were injured.
