Invaders kill 551 children in Ukraine
Since February 24, 2022, Russian invaders have killed 551 children and injured another 1,366 in Ukraine.
“More than 1,919 children in Ukraine have suffered from the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 4, 2024, according to the official information provided by juvenile prosecutors, 551 children were killed and more than 1,366 received injuries of various degrees of severity,” the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
Most children were affected in the Donetsk region - 536, Kharkiv region - 389, Kherson region - 152, Dnipropetrovsk region - 143, Kyiv - 130, Zaporizhzhia region - 108, Mykolaiv region - 107.
On June 3, a 12-year-old boy was killed in Russia’s shelling of Mykhailivka, Donetsk region.
On June 4, a one-month-old infant and a 17-year-old boy were injured in the shelling of Dnipro.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of June 4, Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down two Russian missiles in Dnipro. Seven people, including two children, were injured.
