War update: Russia attacking almost along entire front line, Porkovsk axis remaining hottest

Russian troops pursue the offensive attempts along almost the entire front line, focusing their efforts on the Kupiansk and Pokrovsk axes and bringing the number of assaults to 81 since day-start.

That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

Kharkiv axis: Russian invaders tried five times today to knock Ukrainian units out of their positions. Four enemy attacks were successfully repelled, and one in the Vovchansk area is ongoing. The invasion force lost 114 personnel killed and wounded today. Ukrainian units destroyed a Russian armored car, an artillery system, seven UAVs, six units of specialized equipment, and four ammunition depots in the area.

Kupiansk axis: the Russians keep putting pressure on the Ukrainian defenses, trying to improve their positions in the areas of Druzheliubivka and Cherneshchyna, where hostilities continue. In total, the invaders increased the number of assaults in the Kupiansk axis to 12, of which 10 have already been repelled. As of now, the enemy losses stand at 86. Ukraine also destoyed three Russian armored fighting vehicles and another vehicle.

Lyman axis: today, the enemy launched seven attacks. Now pressure is tense in Serebryansk Forest where fighting is underway in four locations. Another battle is taking place near Nevske.

Pokrovsk axis: the area remains the hottest. As of now, the number of enemy attacks has increased to 19. Russian terrorists continue to press most actively in the area of ​​Sokil. Accordingly, they suffer manpower losses. They have already lost 354 personnel. In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian tank, three IFVs, seven artillery systems, a ground drone, and a vehicle. Another 13 units of Russian military equipment were damaged.

Orikhiv axis: the Russian army is pressing in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Shcherbake, where five enemy attacks have already been repelled.

According to the General Staff, the situation in the remaining axes has not undergone significant changes.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the evening of June 5, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the infrastructure of the Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa region.
