Russians shell Pivnichne in Donetsk region, one person killed

Russian troops fired on the village of Pivnichne in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, killing one person and injuring four others.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"In the village of Pivnichne, Bakhmut district, which is located just a few kilometres from the frontline, one person was killed and four were wounded as a result of an enemy attack," the statement said.

Rescuers at the scene provided first aid to two wounded citizens and transported them to the hospital.

As reported by Ukrinform, on 5 June, Russian invaders killed four residents of Donetsk region and injured 14 others.
