Civilian killed as invaders attack Nikopol district with kamikaze drones and artillery
Overnight into Saturday, June 8, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol district with kamikaze drones and artillery, killing a man.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
"Overnight, the defenders of the sky shot down two Shaheds over the region - in the Dnipro and Synelnykove districts. Attacks on the Nikopol district continued. The enemy used kamikaze drones and artillery. Nikopol and the Myrove, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities were under attack," he said.
Lysak said that a man had been killed in the attack. In the Chervonohryhorivka community, enemy artillery shelling killed a 70-year-old man.
A utility company, an infrastructure facility, and an administrative building were damaged. A private house was destroyed, and five others were damaged.
