Invaders shelled border of Sumy region 12 times, mostly with artillery from across border from Russia
In Sumy region, Russians fired 12 times at the border areas, mostly from artillery from across the border with Russia.
This was reported in the Telegram of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"At night and in the morning, the Russians fired 12 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 59 explosions were recorded. Yunakivska, Krasnopilska, Seredyno-Budska, Shalyhinska, Velykopysarivska communities were shelled," the statement said.
Reportedly, the Yunakivska community was shelled with artillery (10 explosions).
"️Krasnopil community: there was artillery shelling (2 explosions). Seredina-Budska community: the enemy delivered mortar (5 explosions) and grenade launcher (8 explosions) attacks. Shalygynska community: mortar (2 explosions), artillery (6 explosions) and a Shahed UAV attack (4 explosions) were recorded," the statement said.
Artillery shelling (21 explosions) was recorded in the Velykopysarivska community.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on 7 June, Russians fired 14 times during the day at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 54 explosions were recorded.
Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Znob-Novgorodska, Shalyhinska, Esmanska, Velykopysarivska communities were shelled.
