Russian troops shell residential district in Kherson, injuring 102-year-old woman

A 102-year-old woman was injured in Russia’s shelling of Kherson city.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The video shows the scene of a recent Russian shelling of the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The enemy hit a residential building," Prokudin wrote.

He said that a 102-year-old woman received an explosive injury as a result of the shelling.

She is currently hospitalized with an explosive injury, including shrapnel wounds to her torso and limbs.

Medics assess the victim's condition as moderate. She is being provided with the necessary medical care.
