Air defense destroys all missiles and drones launched by enemy to attack Kyiv

Russia attacked the Ukrainian capital with Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 missiles, ballistic missiles and drones in the early hours of Wednesday, June 12.

The Kyiv city military administration reported this on the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy launched another missile attack on the capital! The attack was combined, with different types of weapons used. The enemy launched Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers. These missiles approached Kyiv from the south in several waves. Enemy UAVs were moving towards the capital from the same southern direction almost at the same time as the missiles," the post said.

According to preliminary reports, the enemy also fired ballistic missiles at the capital during the attack.

The air raid alert in Kyiv lasted almost two hours.

Air defense forces intercepted all enemy targets.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage in the capital.
