Missile and drone attack: Civilian injured by falling debris in Kyiv region

A civilian was injured by falling debris during a Russian drone and missile attack on the Kyiv region early on Wednesday, and several objects in two districts of the region were damaged.

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Last night, the enemy attacked the region with missiles and UAVs. The air raid alert lasted almost two hours. Air defense forces were actively working in the region. Residential or critical infrastructure facilities were not struck. One person suffered a leg wound due to falling debris. Medical care was provided at the scene. The victim refused to be hospitalized," he said.

According to Kravchenko, as of 07:00, a number of objects in two districts of the region were damaged by falling debris.

In particular, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in one of the districts. Fire and rescue units from the Kyiv region, Kyiv city, and rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia are extinguishing the fire. In total, more than 105 people and 30 pieces of equipment were involved in putting out the blaze.

Falling debris also damaged a private house, a gas station, and a garage.

In another district, a warehouse caught fire.

All emergency services are working on the ground, eliminating and recording the consequences of the attack.
