Satellite images show aftermath of Ukrainian strikes targeting Russian air defense systems in Crimea
Satellite images were released to clarify the consequences of the Ukrainian strikes on the Russian S-300 air defense system outside Crimea’s Belbek, as well as on two S-400 systems near Belbek and Sevastopol.
The photos were published by the CyberBoroshno Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.
"The result of an attack on the position of the S-300 air defense system in the area of Velyke, Yevpatoriya district. The 5N63S command post with a 30N6 radar guns were destroyed. Also the pictures show 5P85ТЕ tractors without trailers and traces of towed equipment that has been damaged/destroyed (the same were seen after a 92N6E radar that was removed after it was destroyed in the Belbek area).
South of the said location, tractors were seen towing away generators from the attack site. Since this type of radar is supposed to be deployed next to the launchers, they were likely quickly removed.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of June 12, explosions rang out in the Bakhchysaray district, temporarily occupied Crimea.
Subsequently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces wrote that Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue a series of strikes targeting Russia’s air defense capabilities deployed across the temporarily occupied peninsula.
