War update: Over third of combat clashes today recorded on Pokrovsk axis

Seventy-one combat engagements have already been recorded on the front lines today, and 24 of them occurred on the Pokrovsk axis.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a situation update as of 19:00 on June 14, Ukrinform reports.

In the Kupiansk sector, the number of combat clashes has increased to nine, with eight attacks successfully repelled by Ukrainian soldiers and one still ongoing in the Pishchane area.

Seven combat clashes were reported in the Lyman sector, where the enemy continues to put pressure near Hrekivka and Nevske. Two combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy attempts improve their tactical position near Rozdolivka.

The situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains tense. Since the beginning of the day, there have already been 24 combat clashes here. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 14 enemy attacks, and ten are still ongoing. Fighting is currently raging outside Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Sokil, and Novopokrovske.

The total number of enemy attacks in the Kurakhove sector has increased to 15. Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 12 assaults by Russian invaders. Near Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka, the enemy does not give up hope of improving his tactical position. The enemy uses armored vehicles and suffers losses.

Earlier today, Ukrainian forces have already wounded 60 and killed 36 invaders. Two enemy tanks, an armored combat vehicle, two vehicles and a ground-based UAV control station were destroyed. Three vehicles and four Russian tanks were damaged.
