War update: Russian forces launched 44 attacks today

The number of enemy attacks on the front lines today has increased to 44, with almost a third of all combat clashes recorded on the Pokrovsk axis.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a situation update as of 13:00 on Saturday, June 15, Ukrinform reports.

The border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions suffer from Russian artillery strikes. Bilovody, Hrabovske and Mykhalchyna Sloboda came under enemy fire today.

The invaders continued to bomb the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs from Russian territory. Two of them were dropped in the direction of Synelnykove.

Combat clashes are taking place near Tykhe and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, seven enemy assault operations are ongoing outside Petropavlivske, Andriivka, Hrekivka, and Nevske.

On the Lyman axis, the Russian army stepped up operations near Makiivka. A battle is going on there now.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russian army is active in the area of Chasiv Yar, with two combat clashes still ongoing.

The invaders are most active today in the Pokrovsk sector. Seven of their attacks have already been repelled, and eight more are still ongoing. Battles are taking place near Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Sokil, and Novoselivka Persha.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Russians have already launched six attacks today, but none of these attempts was successful.

In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attacks today, particularly near Staromaiorske, Solodke, and Urozhaine.
