Civilian injured as Russian army strikes village in Kupiansk district

In the Kharkiv region, the Russian army attacked a village in the Kupiansk district, injuring a civilian.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to the investigation, on June 15, at about 11:00, the occupiers fired on the village of Kurylivka, Kupiansk district. A 55-year-old man was wounded. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged," the report says.

According to preliminary information, the enemy used multiple launch rocket systems to shell the settlement.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.

As reported, the Kharkiv region is currently under constant shelling by Russian troops. The invaders terrorize civilians almost every day, destroy homes, businesses, energy and various infrastructure facilities.
