Russian army loses 1,160 more soldiers in Ukraine

Russia's overall combat losses in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and June 16, 2024 amounted to about 526,310 troops, including 1,160 soldiers killed or wounded in action in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 7,956 Russian tanks, 15,269 (+6) armored fighting vehicles, 13,913 (+58) artillery systems, 1,104 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 853 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 2,296 (+3) cruise missiles. The Russian army also lost 359 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 11,159 (+11) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 18,967 (+56) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2,325 (+3) pieces of special equipment.
