Enemy attacks Nikopol with heavy artillery and drones

Russian forces shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, overnight into Sunday, June 16.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Marhanets and Nikopol were under attack by the occupiers in the evening. But after the silence at night, the district center was attacked again this morning. The enemy used heavy artillery. They also launched kamikaze drones," he said.

Lysak added that the shelling caused a fire. Ten private houses and four outbuildings were damaged. Gas pipelines and power lines were hit.
