Russian army launches airstrike targeting Kharkiv district

Tuesday afternoon, the Russian invasion forces launched an airstrike on the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv district, leaving a number of buildings damaged.

The chief of the Derhachi community, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, reported this via Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Russian terrorists launched an airstrike on the village of Slatyne. Houses and administrative buildings were damaged," the post says.

Casualty reports are being verified as emergency services are working on the scene.

The head of the community later clarified that at least one person was injured.

"A 51-year-old local woman sustained injuries," Zadorenko wrote.

Slatyne is a village in the Derhachi community close to the border with Russia that has been under enemy fire since the invasion.
