One injured as Russians hit Nikopol district with artillery, drones
The Russian army has attacked the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, with artillery and drones, injuring a man.
Serhii Lysak, head of the region's military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
"The security situation in the Nikopol district over the past day. The district was again attacked by enemy UAVs and artillery. […] A 37-year-old man was injured. He was taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds. He is in moderate condition. The patient receives all the necessary care," the post reads.
According to Lysak, the invaders attacked Nikopol, as well as the Myrove, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities.
"A fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished. A high-rise residential building and a passenger car were damaged," he said.
He specified that 14 private houses had been hit, an outbuilding destroyed, and four more damaged by this morning's shelling of Nikopol.
"A 74-year-old man, who was injured as a result of an overnight Shahed drone attack on the Dnipro district, turned to the doctors. The victim was given medical assistance. He will be recovering at home," Lysak wrote.
