Russians drop explosives on residential building in Chernihiv region, injuring man
The Russian army dropped an explosive on a residential building in the Semenivka community of Chernihiv region. A 55-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds.
Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"This morning, Russians struck at the Semenivka community in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district. An explosive device was dropped on a residential building," the statement said.
It is noted that the 55-year-old owner of the house sustained shrapnel wounds to his legs as a result of the strike. He was taken to the hospital.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian troops fired 33 times from various types of weapons at the border area of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions over the past day, resulting in a total of 109 explosions.
