Ukrainian air defenses shoot down all drones that attacked Kyiv

Ukraine's air defense forces have destroyed all Shahed one-way strike drones that the Russians used to attack Kyiv.

The city's military administration announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"The nighttime air raid alert in the capital was connected with the threat of attack UAVs. According to preliminary information, enemy drones were launched from the south, flew through the Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Chernihiv regions and tried to attack Kyiv from the northeast," the post reads.

Ukraine's air defense units destroyed all enemy targets as they approached the capital.
