Russian army loses 1,060 more soldiers in Ukraine in past day

Russia's overall combat losses in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and June 21, 2024 amounted to about 531,980 troops, including 1,060 soldiers killed or wounded in action in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 8,001 (+14) Russian tanks, 15,372 (+35) armored fighting vehicles, 14,106 (+54) artillery systems, 1,106 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 861 (+2) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 2,298 cruise missiles. The Russian army also lost 359 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 11,260 tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 19,181 (+47) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2,367 (+10) pieces of special equipment.
