Russian army launches ballistic missile attack on coastal area of Odesa region

Russian troops fired a ballistic missile at the coastal zone in Odesa region on 21 June.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleh Kiper, said this in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy fired a ballistic missile at the coastal zone of Odesa region. As a result of the hit, a recreational infrastructure facility was damaged. A fire broke out at the site, which firefighters quickly extinguished," the statement said.

According to the head of the RMA, no one was injured.

As Ukrinform reported, air alert was announced throughout Ukraine due to the take-off of MiG-31K aircraft from the Savasleyka airfield in Russia.
