AFU already felt real increase in capabilities to repel enemy - Syrskyi

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has said that thanks to U.S. military assistance, Ukrainian units have already felt a real increase in their capabilities to repel the enemy.

Syrskyi said this in a phone call with Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Quinton Brown, Ukrinform reports, referring to Syrskyi’s Facebook page.

"I shared my vision of the battlefield situation following my visit to the front. We discussed aspects of logistical assistance to Ukraine and the enhancement of the quality of training for our troops," Syrskyi noted.

He thanked for the ongoing military assistance from the United States.

"Ukrainian units have already felt a real increase in their capabilities to repel the enemy," Syrskyi said.

As reported by Ukrinform, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs John Bass said at a briefing in Kyiv that the United States is focused on providing Ukraine with air defense equipment, but its support is not limited to this.
