More than 20,000 subscribers left without power in Ukraine due to Russian shelling
In Ukraine, more than 20,000 consumers were left without electricity supply as a result of shelling. 74 consumers were left without gas supply in Volyn region after a night attack.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Energy, a house and a gas pipeline caught fire in one of the settlements in Volyn region as a result of the fall of UAV debris. As a result, 74 customers were left without gas supply.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, 1,645 customers were cut off from electricity supply in the morning due to technological reasons, and restoration works are underway. Yesterday, 5,040 metering points were cut off due to hostilities, but by the morning they were all connected.
In Donetsk region, 11,300 customers in 13 settlements were left without electricity supply due to hostile shelling yesterday. Power engineers supplied power to 26,600 customers in 44 settlements. As of this morning, 128 settlements remain without power, affecting almost 64 thousand customers.
In addition, gas companies have restored gas supply to 36 consumers who were disconnected due to hostile shelling.
In Zaporizhzhia region, 3,700 customers in 51 settlements remain without power due to hostilities.
In Ivano-Frankivsk region, a nighttime missile attack disrupted the overhead line of a regional power company, cutting power to 16 customers, who were restored to electricity in the morning. One customer transformer substation remains without power.
In one of the settlements, gas supply to 57 private sector consumers was interrupted for technological reasons.
In Sumy region, power companies reconnected 295 subscribers who were cut off due to shelling. In the morning, 3,800 customers in 8 settlements were disconnected for technological reasons. In total, 9,600 customers in 89 settlements remain without power, 5,800 of them due to hostilities.
In one of the settlements of Ternopil region, gas supply to 37 household consumers was cut off to repair the damaged gas pipeline.
In Kharkiv region, 37,500 customers in 107 settlements remain without power due to the hostilities.
In Kherson, power engineers have reconnected 2,154 metering points that were disconnected after the shelling. But after another attack in the morning, 3972 subscribers were cut off. In total, 6,345 customers in Kherson have no electricity supply, and 25,800 customers in 45 settlements in the region.
In the Chernihiv region, 1511 subscribers in 25 settlements remain without electricity supply as a result of hostilities.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, due to a massive missile attack by the Russian army on 22 June, power cuts will start two hours earlier today, with hourly blackouts scheduled to take place throughout Ukraine from 14:00 to 24:00.
