Russian attack damages 12 buildings of Ivano-Frankivsk university
Russia’s missile attack damaged 12 buildings of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. One of them is half-destroyed.
Rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Ihor Chudyk, said this at a briefing in Ivano-Frankivsk, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"One of the university buildings was damaged quite badly. According to a visual assessment, it is about 50% destroyed, that is, the roof and one corner of the building are completely destroyed. All the windows, the interior, and the laboratory and training facilities are completely destroyed.... Nearly 12 buildings of the university were damaged - windows and doors were broken. These are about 150 windows, 100 internal doors, 25 external doors," said Chudyk.
According to him, the university staff is currently assessing the damage to the institution.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia’s strike on Ivano-Frankivsk damaged a university, a lyceum, and a kindergarten.
